Digital accounting
You send documents electronically; we process and archive them in line with accounting law.
Digital accounting means your documents reach us electronically while the paper stays with you. Since 2022 Slovak accounting law treats an electronic record as equal to a paper one.
How it works
- photograph a document with your phone or send it by e-mail
- supplier invoices are taken over directly in electronic form
- we process them in accounting software and post them continuously, not once a quarter
- statements and returns are filed electronically through the tax authority portal
- we keep the archive, so documents stay available years later
What the law says
Act No. 431/2002 Coll. has made no distinction between paper and electronic accounting records since 2022. A paper document may be converted by scanning or photographing under Section 33 and the paper original no longer has to be kept.
The conditions are integrity of content, legibility and demonstrable origin of the document. We secure these through our processing method and internal controls.
Deadlines we prepare you for
From March 2026 accepting cashless payments becomes mandatory. From 2027 electronic invoicing becomes compulsory — an invoice may be sent electronically without the recipient agreeing, and it must be archived in its original format.
Moving to digital processing now means not having to solve it at the last minute.
Price
Depends on scope — the number of documents, the number of employees and whether you are registered for value added tax. We agree the price in advance and do not change it during the year.
